Piece is painted this with the goal of keeping things feeling natural and fluid, but also a bit puzzling. At first glance it looks like a pond seen from above, but depending on how you look at it, the perspective can shift—almost like you’re staring into another world beneath the surface.

Artist enjoyed the idea of mixing something familiar, like ripples and fish, with a viewpoint that makes you stop and think for a moment. Are you looking down into the water? Or through it? That bit of visual tension was intentional—I wanted it to hold the viewer’s attention for a little longer, like a quiet moment that pulls you in.
